It’s an exciting week for biking in New York City. Tomorrow is the start of Bike Expo New York, and Nutcase Helmets will be there, showing off the Metroride as well as our 2015 Street styles and our new Baby Nutty helmets.

Bike Expo New York (at Pier 36 this year) is a high-energy show, the largest annual consumer extravaganza for biking in the world. Which means, it can be a little daunting. But at our booth we’re laid back and having fun. Come and see us – we’re at booth #215.

And don’t miss the Momentum fashion show – Saturday at noon – where you can see a few different Nutcase helmets paired with great bikes and great noggins.

In addition, we can help outfit you if you are doing Sunday’s fantabulous 5 Boro Bike Tour.

This 40-mile ride is a New York tradition – last year more than 30,000 cyclists rolled onto the car-free streets of the city and wheeled through all five of its boroughs.

In conjunction with the City of New York, the Five Boro Bike Tour is the world’s biggest charitable bike ride, with proceeds funding the city’s free bike education programs.

The Bike Expo is the ride’s official packet pick-up destination, and so we’re on hand to properly fit you with a great new Nutcase if you are in need of a helmet for the ride or simply for stylish spinning through the streets as spring hits.

During the 5 Boro ride we’ll also be doing an Instagram challenge, and giving away five great helmets with matching bells!
