Many great things are born out of tough times and Gregg’s Cycles is no exception. Gregg’s Cycles was established during the Great Depression in 1932 by R.V. Gregg who started renting bikes for five cents an hour to ride around Greenlake. In 1975, current owner Stan Gregg took over reins of the company and developed it into a full service cycling retailer. In the mid 80’s, Gregg’s expanded in an effort to better serve the cycling community in the greater Seattle area. Gregg’s now has three retail locations: Bellevue Cycle, Alderwood Cycle, and the flagship Greenlake Cycle location. Gregg’s completed an extensive effort in 2007 and again in 2013 to increase the size of the stores and improve customer amenities. The new and remodeled stores allow for a vastly improved product selection and shopping experience. Gregg’s employs approximately 130 people who are professionally trained to meet the needs of the cycling consumer.

Gregg’s has been rated as a “Top 100 Dealer in the U.S.” by Bicycle Retailer consecutively for over 30 years and voted the top bike shop in Western Washington by King 5 Evening Magazine poll for 2009-2013. Our fully staffed service department, professional bike fitting services, and an extensive selection of bikes, parts, accessories and clothing can support you from your first bike to your dream bike while maintaining the feel of a locally owned, family run bike shop.
