It wasn’t long into Nutcase’s history that we introduced Little Nutty, our helmet suitable for the younger set. By 2007, we had already had a lot of feedback from parental Nutcases wanting a helmet small enough for their kids for biking and skateboarding and other sports, and we were eager to comply.

“At Nutcase I can safely say we are kids at heart,” said Nutcase founder Michael Morrow. “Our aim was a helmet that was so cool that parents wouldn’t have to push kids to wear it because kids themselves are excited to buckle up.”

From the feedback we’ve gotten over the years, we’ve succeeded. Now, on the eve of the Eurobike show in Friedrichshafen, we are very stoked to be introducing the Gen3 Little Nutty helmet collection, with six all-new graphic designs.

Nutty's Newest 5

Gen3 Little Nutty is the result of our efforts to combine both superior fit and supreme comfort – and give our younger fan base a total of 15 different helmets to choose from.

The newest designs are: Daisy Pink, Bumblebee, Lots Love, Little Monsters, Space Cadet, and Gotcha. These join the old favorites like Watermelon, Ladybug, and Union Jack.

Little Nutty Gen3 will come in one size (48-52 cm) and is tested and certified for riders over five years old by global agencies CPSC, ASTM, CE and AS/NZS.

dad and girlLittle Nutty was the first of our Nutcase helmets to incorporate the now-famous Spin Dial system to enable spot-on fit, and it still has that, as well as our Fidlock no-pinch magnetic buckle, three thicknesses of foam pads, and 360 degree reflectivity.

New to the Gen3 Little Nutty for 2015 is an added feature we feel pretty sure will be popular with both parents and kids: removable, fun-colored visors. While these Street helmets ship with basic black visors, starting next spring four other visor colors will be available: pink, blue, orange, and green.
