Ferrall Dietrich is the owner of Core72, a Washington DC based women’s activewear and lifestyle boutique and the May, 2016 Nutcase Dealer Of The Month. “We have carried Nutcase since we opened three years ago — it has, and always will be, one of our core brands. We love its local flavor, its originality, its Portland sensibility. Nutcase lets us take life and ourselves a little bit less seriously – always a good thing here in DC – and makes sure that we have fun and smile a little bit more every day. We “heart” Nutcase here at core72!” Ferrall said when her rep, Tom Mantel, informed her of her celebrity status.
Recently named Best of Washington 2015 and Best of Bethesda 2015, Core72 brings to the DC area a unique and personally curated selection of brands designed for active as well as casual lifestyles. As an avid trail runner, hiker, equestrian and general outdoor/exercise enthusiast, Ferrall has years of hands on experience with many of the brands carried at Core72. She has loved them, lived in them and actively tested them – and found them just too good not to share! Many of the companies found at Core72 are woman-owned with products designed and made in the USA.
In addition to selling the apparel that inspires us to stay active (and relax afterwards), Core72 collaborates with local small businesses and nonprofits to foster a community of active, adventurous girls and women who inspire and encourage one another to take on new challenges, no matter how big or small. As a native Washingtonian, it is very important to Ferrall that Core72 not just be about retail, but also about supporting her community however possible – whether through donations and in store events or simply by highlighting the wealth of outdoor resources right in DC’s backyard.
