    Sneak Peak at Hello, Bicycle,
a new book from Anna Brones

Two wheels. A bicycle isn’t much more complicated than that. In its simplest form, the bicycle is made up of two wheels, a frame, a chain, pedals, handlebars, and a seat. It is the most beautiful of machines, as aesthetically pleasing as it is functional.

Why Wear A Wild Helmet Design

In his way, Michael makes helmets like the Island Sunset to challenge people. To choose colors so gorgeous and rich that they pop, and also to find a way to add graphic elements that look great and harken to some themes we all relate to. Why wear a wild helmet design? Because if it speaks to you, you’ll love it every day you wear it.

    The Nutcase Nuu-Muu Giveaway

How do Nuu-Muu and Nutcase help you along the way?
Nuu-Muu and Nutcase are run by some pretty amazing and inspiring folks. Not only do their products help me by keeping my brain safe and my bod looking good but it’s really the people behind the product that keep me stoked and inspired. Both companies are all about seeing the world just a little differently, having a little more fun, and not taking yourself too seriously while still being very practical.

10 Rules For Great Picnics by Bike This Summer!

The beauty of the impromptu picnic is that it’s just that: unplanned and spontaneous. Of course, more elaborate picnics are always worth the effort. But mostly, just strap on the helmet, load up the picnic pannier, get on the bike, and go.

Bike Camping In Oregon Wine Country

We set up three friends with our new Metroride for the trip, typically sold as an urban commuter helmet, they found it worked just as well as a touring helmet thanks to its light weight, generous vents and adjustable fit. Folks also really liked the Fidlock magnetic buckle.

Why Every City Needs A ‘Pedalpalooza’

Portland’s secret superpower in getting people to enjoy riding their bikes? Pedalpalooza. While not every Pedalpalooza ride is for everyone (the World Naked Bike Ride just isn’t everyone’s idea of fun) everyone can find a ride that they are interested in on the extensive Pedalpalooza calendar.

National Bike Month – Reasons to Ride #4

Instead of a standard road-bike club format, Garrison said her Black Girls Do Bike chapters decide themselves how to organize rides and what kind of ride they’ll do. One thing that all of the chapters do is have one monthly no-drop, ‘no woman left behind’ casual ride so that new riders can meet others in a non-stressful atmosphere.
